PPoFT Working for Environmental Justice

Environmental degradation and negative health effects due to plastic waste is accelerating around the globe and the on-going climate crisis threatens not only humans, but many other species as well. Time is short. Join PPoFT’s Environmental Interest Group and/or Placer Earth Care Action (PECA) to pursue environmental justice, and care for the Earth as we work toward stopping the climate crisis, reducing the use of single use plastic, and halting the extinction of plants and animals.

What can faith communities do? Educate! Act with personal life changes. Advocate for policy changes to eliminate fossil fuels, habit destruction, and single-use plastics—decreasing our destruction of the environment.  Join us - each faith community should have a representative in one of these groups!
